In short

Opt-in notifications. Notifications are off by default. You choose whether to be notified when a friend creates or updates a plan, or joins one of yours.

You control who sees your plans. Every plan is shared only with the friends you hand-pick. Nobody outside that list can see it, not even in search.

Only you see who's joining. When friends respond to your plan, only you can see their names and notes. Friends viewing your plan don't see each other.

Consent-only contacts. You can only add someone by sharing a link or QR code they choose to accept. There's no add-by-phone or add-by-email.

Silent, one-way removal. If you remove a friend, they're never notified. You simply stop seeing them.

Account deletion. You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This permanently removes your profile, plans, contacts, and all associated data.

What information we collect

To run Toodl, we store:

Your name and email address (used to sign in — we send a one-time code to your email, there are no passwords)
Your children's first names and birth month/year, if you choose to add them, so plans can show "parent of X (age)"
Places you save and plans you create or join
Your contact list — people you're connected with, added only when both sides accept an invite link or QR code

We do not collect phone numbers, continuous location history, or usage/advertising analytics. Toodl has no ads and does not sell your data.

How we use it

Your information is used only to operate the app: authenticating you, showing your plans and friends' shared plans, and — if you opt in — sending push notifications about plan activity. If you enable notifications, delivery is handled by Apple Push Notification service (iOS) or Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android); these services see only a device token, not your plan content.

Children's information

Toodl is used by parents and guardians to coordinate playdates — it is not directed at children, and children do not create accounts or use the app themselves. A child's first name and birth month/year are entered voluntarily by the parent's own account, solely so that parent's plans can show helpful context to friends they've chosen to share with.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings — this immediately and permanently removes your profile, children's info, plans, contacts, and saved places.

No longer have the app installed? Email dikasths@outlook.com from the address on your account and we'll delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.

You don't have to delete your whole account to remove specific data — children, saved places, contacts, and plans can each be deleted individually in the app. If you'd rather not use the app, email dikasths@outlook.com telling us what to remove and we'll delete just that data within 30 days.

Security

Access to your data is enforced server-side: plans are only visible to their creator and the people explicitly shared with, and all requests require an authenticated session. Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit.

Your rights

You can view, edit, or delete your data directly in the app at any time. For any other request — including a copy of your data or questions about this policy — contact us using the details below.
